This Ole House is a / album by Welsh rock and roll singer Shakin' plemevwhobaforbuddwardingnipkobuto.coinfo album was originally released in October under the name Marie, Marie but failed to chart. When single "This Ole House" reached No. 1 in the UK Singles Chart the album was re-issued in March with the new title and song added, peaking at No. 2 in the UK Albums Chart.

After hitting #1 with "This Ole House" CBS wasted no time in tacking the single onto the previous years tremendous but unsuccessful Marie, Marie and re-marketing it with the album being re-named after the hit single. The single is a bit more "pop" than the rest of the tracks and whilst it doesn't diminish the overall flow, the album was better without it.
